Therapeutic Exercise

What does Therapeutic Exercise mean?

Therapeutic exercise means that the exercises are used to heal and strengthen damaged tissue.  For exercise to be successful it must be progressive, which means it must be more challenging as time goes on.  It also needs to be done 3-5 times a week for at least 6-8 weeks.  It does not have to hurt, but your muscles will get tired and feel fatigued.

The Egoscue Method

The Egoscue Method uses specific exercises to improve posture and decrease pain.  It can be very gentle or sometimes challenging.  In most cases, patients feel the beneficial effects immediately and walk out feeling better!
